Stop Bullying

Bullying cases among children have become more prevalent recently. Bullying can involve a variety of behaviors, such as hitting, making rude movements, bad calls, insults and also gossip about something or someone.

If this is allowed to drag on, there will be other psychological problems at a later date for these children, both those who are bullies or those who are bullied. It is important that we integrate a mental health perspective for anti-bullying campaigns, because early prevention can prevent long-term consequences for the mental development of the child in the future.

Bully is physical or mental violence in which one or more people attack or intimidate another person. This violent behavior is common in school environments and generally affects children and adolescents who are physically weaker than their peers.

Bullying does not only occur when the perpetrator physically abuses the victim, such as hitting, slapping, or kicking. Bullying can also be carried out without using physical violence, such as taunting, calling someone slanderous, or it can also spread gossip about the victim or humiliate him in front of many people.

In today's technology era, bullying is getting easier. The perpetrator only needs to use social media to bring down the victim, such as distributing negative themed texts, photos or videos about the victim.
