Conditional Sentence : Type 3

BUILDING BLOCKS Third conditional sentence is a conditional sentence when a condition can't possibly be realized at all. This can be described as a very impossible condition or just a dream or a imagination. In this third type of conditional sentence , the conditional sentence uses the past perfect equipped with auxiliary modalities such as would, could, and might. The formula used is : If + Past perfect + Would / Could / Might + Have + Past participle  Example : - We might have gone to South America if she had not been pregnant. - If i had cleaned the house, i could have gone to the movies - If i had locked the car, the thief wouldn't have stolen my car ACTIVE CONVERSATION   Conclusion :  Third conditional sentence is a conditional sentence when a condition can't possibly be realized at all. Conditional Sentence : Type 2

    BUILDING BLOCKS   Type 2 conditionals refer to the unlikely conditions or presuppositions and their possible outcomes. These sentences are not based on real situation. In type 2 conditional sentences, the time is now or whenever and the situation is not real or presumed.   The formula for this sentence is : If + Subject + Would + Infinitive   Example : - If the weather isn't so bad, we would go to the park. - If i was the Queen of England, i would give everyone a chicken. - If you really loved me, you would buy me a diamond ring.     ACTIVE CONVERSATION   Conclusion : Type 2 conditionals refer to the unlikely conditions or presuppositions and their possible outcomes. These sentences are not based on real situation.
